《Living Life》 ~✨

Some time ago, a young person asked me: “What is the meaning of human existence?” This is a frequently discussed topic, but how many people actually “want” to find the answer, or “have already” truly found it?

When people ask why we exist, those who ask desire to have their own signature. Ultimately, humans do not want to die; they only want to live. Those who live well in their days especially do not want to die. Let me clarify, I am not an expert, and I believe that on this subject, no one can claim to be an expert. What the human eye can see is limited to the realm of the physical, and the answer to this question lies beyond the realm of the human eye.

Generally speaking, different people have different thoughts on this question. However, subjective human opinions are also generated from objective environments/facts and personal insights. For some people, the meaning of their coming into this world is, for example: 1. To carry on the family line; 2. To pursue satisfaction (career, wealth, status, power, pleasure, etc.); 3. To muddle along.

If we are to ask about the meaning of human existence, I believe we must first ask about the “source of life.” Life is not just human life; there are many forms of life that people usually do not notice, such as flowers, plants, trees, birds, beasts, insects, marine life, etc. So, where does life come from? Why do natural laws exist as they do, and why can all things coexist in harmony?

Subjective human positioning should include personal thoughts and experiences, combined with objective basis. If we cannot fully comprehend what the naked eye can see, then we are even less able to comprehend what the naked eye cannot see. Thus, humans can only rely on “belief” to understand what is invisible to the eye. Through “faith,” we understand that our days on earth are meant to “pave the way” for a future that the eye cannot yet see, freeing people from confusion and emptiness.

Seeking answers in what the naked eye cannot see inevitably leads to the topic of faith. There are countless beliefs in the world; different people may share the same faith or have different ones. Those who have faith also have varying degrees of understanding of their beliefs. If a person does not understand what they believe, it is superstition; this also includes those who call themselves Christian.

There are choices in faith, but there is only one God; there is a religious freedom, but the Bible tells the world that this one and only God is the self-existent and eternal “I AM,” and He transcends all religions in the world. The Bible tells the world, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:1-5)

There is freedom to choose, and there is freedom not to choose. Those who, by faith, choose the one revealed in the Bible—that is, those who believe and receive God’s only Son, Jesus Christ—are given the right to become children of God. God’s children are sojourners on earth; during their days as sojourners, they are to glorify their Heavenly Father. God’s children will have a home to return to in the future. There, there will be no more separation, no more sin, and no more pain and tears caused by sin.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away… He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. This is the scene laid out in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 of the Bible—how “fitting” it is!

Life is something everyone must experience for himself or herself; with experience comes growth; with growth comes more inner discipline and strength, enabling one to live a wise and abundant life. Those who believe in Jesus receive life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10). Their vitality comes from “Faith,” “Hope,” and “Love.” Through faith comes hope, and with hope, they live in love, always being joyful and at peace. My experience tells me that a life without the Lord Jesus Christ is a life without true life; because Christ is the life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45). If one relies on the Lord, joyfully doing good for the Lord throughout life, and bearing much good fruit, they will surely enjoy the fruits of their labor, for this is God’s promise.

The Lord Jesus said: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7). May you ask, may you seek, may you knock, and find your own answer!

《Wind · Spirit》 ✨

Flowers bloom and wither, there is a time.

Gains and losses in life, also have their time.

Under the sun, there is a time.

The wind chimes ring, yet cannot wake the slumbering.

God’s judgment, there is a time.

Lying in bed at night, the spirit moves, the soul wanders, the heart ponders.

Those who seek mercy receive an answer.

Those who delight in falsehood head toward ruin.

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.

Those who pursue truth, call out and receive an answer.

Those who seek falsehood, shall perish on the way.

The wind ceases, the chimes fall silent, there is also a time.

Oh dreamers of vanity, why slumber until death!
