Daily Prompt

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.

Everyone needs a role model.  For boys, most look upon their father as their role model and for girls their mother.  Parental DNA is not only biological but also psychological in forming children’s character.

As a saying goes, “Three years old determines eighty.”. What is learned young lasts a lifetime.

A person can have more than one role model to follow: for example, a teacher, a friend, a celebrity, etc.

My role model combines three in one, namely, my father (God the Father), my teacher (Lord Jesus Christ) and my friend (the Holy Spirit).

When I was in my tender age, I asked “What is the purpose of life?”  From then onwards, my life has been connected to God.

I read and meditate on the Bible for God is speaking to me through His words in the Bible.  I pray God as when I pray, I speak with God, and as when I ask in my prayer, I receive guidance and help from Him.

It is good that one has a “man” who can impact positively on his/her life.  What is even better is that the one who has benefited will become the one to pass on the positive impacts to others.
