What relationships have a positive impact on you?
Both good relationships and bad relationships can impact life.
A good relationship originates from love, which can be extended to loving others, related or unrelated.
A bad relationship is due to a lack of love and can lead to hating others, related or unrelated.
Love and hatred are enemies. Both can cause great impacts on people, say in a family, in a school, in a society or in a country.
Love originates from God manifested in His creation of mankind and everything for their well being.
The first hatred comes from jealousy, which can lead to broken relationships and which can even kill the closely related person, i.e. Cain killed his brother Abel out of jealousy (Genesis 4:8).
God is love. He expresses His love in many ways, the greatest one of which is shown by giving His one and only Son Jesus Christ to earthy people, as God wants to re-establish His relationship with mankind (John 3-16; 1 John 4:9).
Not only does God love us, but also He teaches us to love (1 John 4:19). Those who respond to God’s love will love others, including the unrelated.
Love is not selfish, and real love is not conditional. Who could love like the way Jesus loves us? God’s love to mankind has been revealed through the sacrifice of Jesus.
A person’s relationship with God will impact his or her relationship with others. I bear witness to this statement for my relationship with God has yielded positively in all of my relationships with others, including the unrelated.

1 John 4:15-17,21
[15] If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. [16] And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. [17] This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. [21] And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”
