Daily Prompt

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Without the past, without today; without hope for a better tomorrow, we lack strength to live today.

There is a saying, “To live for today.”

Do not wander in the past but learn from the past.  Do not over plan for tomorrow but failing to plan properly is planing to fail.

Depression comes from a broken past, and over worrying of the future leads to depression, too.  The art is to find an equilibrium in all that we do.  Who knows the best of balancing all the imbalances in life?

I bear witness to the truth of life in the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Bible teaches us the knowledge of life, it is for each of us to experience the knowledge to make it become our personal knowledge in the truth of life.  I never read verses out of the whole context of the Bible, for taking a verse out of its context could lead to misinterpretation of the words.

The Lord tells His people not to worry about today and tomorrow, as in heavenly Father they are embraced.  He does not suggest His people to “lie flat”, but indeed He tells His disciples to go to the ends of the earth to be His witness (The Acts 1:8).

The burden of your past makes us short of breath. The burden of your past and present makes you out of breath.  People must live for the present, and the present is today.  Tomorrow is also the present of today.  The passage of life should turn the silly into a wise man, and the wise to be wiser.  The abundance of the wise can turn the burden of your past into the lightness of today.  Who then can make us wise?

May my other posts speak for the truth, add strength to the weak, and inspire greater strength of the strong👇🏻

“Safety and Peril Are One” ~ ✨

To dwell in safety yet brood over peril—Thinking too much is to seek out one’s own troubles.

To dwell in peril yet yearn for safety—Thinking too small saps the strength from life.

Life’s transformations all stem from belief or unbelief.

For the one who believes, even in peril there is safety.

James 1:8

“A double-minded person is unstable in all their ways.”
