Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?
There were four items to which I was strongly attached as a youth, namely:
An item of love — a hand-knitted sweater by my mom, which taught me endurance and sacrifice;
An item of affection — a book of folk songs, which filled me with prides and emotions;
An item of knowledge — a pocket-size English dictionary, which bridged the knowledge gap between my home town and the world; and
An item of wisdom— a pocket-size Bible, which taught me about God and has guided me since then.
Love, knowledge and wisdom continue to grow in me, but my pursuit of pride has been switched to my pursuit of glory for God.
