Our Heavenly Father,
May all Your beloved children who have received Your grace gather to worship You—with hymns and songs of praise, and with lives renewed in Christ. Though we dwell on earth, we make Your house our home and Your will our path. O Father, You established the earth with wisdom, fixed the heavens with understanding, and with knowledge split the depths and let the skies drop dew. We ask You, Father, to grant us wisdom and understanding, that we may truly discern Your thoughts and recognize Your ways. You are the unchanging God; from the beginning, the Word was with You, and the Word was You. May we know You more through the Scriptures You have inspired, experience You more in our daily lives, and treasure Your given wisdom as foremost, with the insight it brings as our guide. In this crooked and perverse generation, may Your word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us forward without error. We also ask that You lead us in what we believe, in how we walk, and in what we proclaim—following the Holy Spirit’s teaching, never departing from the words of Your mouth. May we all put wisdom first, and in all we do, make Your will our own. May Your will be done on earth through the Church belonging to Christ, displaying Your glorious power and grace, showing the gospel to be Your mighty power, able and willing to save all who believe. May churches of the Lord Christ everywhere manifest in these turbulent times that Christ is the way to peace, leading many to repentance and to the Lord. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen!
