Daily Prompt

What do you complain about the most?

People are born with the every inclination of evil thoughts——finger-pointing at others is among one of them.

The first complaint was made by the first man Adam against his wife Eve in order to escape rebuke by God for disobedience (Genesis 3:12).  The first complaint by the first woman Eve was against the serpent that made her sin (Genesis 3:13).  The first born of Adam, Cain killed the second born of Adam, Abel as Cain complained against Abel’s offering was favoured by God.

From there on, wherever there are human beings, there are complaints.  Human beings are selfish beings, and selfish beings are sinful beings.  Self-righteousness is sinful, and shifting self responsibility to others is subject to more severe rebuke.

Anyone who lodges false complaints or non-stop mourning breaks peace.  All big wars start with a small complaint.  Everyone is good at complaining, but not everyone is able to solve disputes with others.

We have many complaint systems aimed at maintaining checks and balances against the personal conduct and duty performance of public officials.  There are, for examples, ombudsmen, complaint councils or watchdog agencies, which serve to uphold righteousness, justice, equality and etc. in our society.  We also have tribunals to deal with complaints and disputes of private nature.  “Complaint” in this sense is good.

On the earth, we rely on just and fair systems to resolve complaints.  If, however, no one system can hold the fort anymore, there comes a time where everything will fall prey to the serpent.

Would you therefore ask——

“What Is Truth?” ~ ✨

The man claims reason as his right

The woman says she sees the light

Each insists his or her own view stands

Her truth escapes the man’s demands

His truth she will not understand

Her reasoning is thought unfair

Though bias is a weight all bear

Only conscience sits at center clear

But if that conscience veers and strays

Then crooked logic rules the day

Romans 3:11-12

“There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”

Isaiah 55:6-7

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”
