Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.
My short answer to today’s Daily Prompt—my most ideal day—is today, and every one of “today”.
God created the heavens and the earth in six days. He saw all that He had made was very good. There was evening and there was morning in every day of the seven days He made. God rested on the seventh day and named it a holy day (Genesis 1:31 & 2:1).
Every day comes with morning and evening. I work from the second to the sixth day, and I rest in God on the first day of every week—the holy day (Mark 16:2; Act 20:7; 1 Corinthian 16:2).
Without holiness, no one will see God, so I make every effort to live in peace with all people and to be holy (Hebrew 12:14), not for one day but for every day; not for blamelessness but for completion in Christ.
In many Chinese martial arts (kung fu) novels and movies, some of the masters of the various sects, such as Shaolin Sect, Wudang Sect and Emei Sect, will go to seclusion yearly to mediate in order to renew their energy and skills. Christians are told to renew themselves day by day (2 Corinthian 4:16). I meditate and renew myself daily on the laws of God, for God’s statutes are my heritage forever and they are the joy of my heart.
From the beginning to the end of every day, I grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. The most of my most ideal days is the day when I can completely rest with my God!

Psalm 8:3-4
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”
Psalm 16:2,5,11
“I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing… Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure… You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
