If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?
I would suggest that a super statue to entrench the making/amendment and enforcement of the Constitutional Law be established in all legal and judicial systems.
The principles of ‘No one is above the law’ and ‘Every person has access to legal rights’ are written into the constitutional laws.
The superstatue should protect judiciaries and courts in evaluating laws and passing judgements against the laid down principles and standards articulated in the Constitution.
From how the world has evolved towards unrighteousness and injustice, every powerless individual becomes more vulnerable than ever. The law of righteousness is eroding, with the weak/the poor being exposed to injustice and unfairness.
The superstatue would govern all laws under a robust system of ‘due process’ and ‘judicial review’ to ensure their consistency with fundamental principles of righteousness and justice is entrenched. Whilst it protects lives and properties of individuals, it ensures all people have access to legal aid for the protection of their rights to a fair and just arrest, prosecution, and trial.
In essence, the Constitutional Law mandates that the government respects all legal rights owed to a person and prohibits the arbitrary deprivation of life, liberty or property. The superstatue offers full protection for the enforcement of the constitutional laws.
God is righteous in all His ways (Psalm 145:17), but the world is against righteousness; God is merciful and gracious (Psalm 103:8), but the world is devious from the truth and kindness. Before the Lord of Righteousness returns to the earth, the long-established laws and legal systems in those civilised countries can do more to fight the fight for our beliefs embedded in God’s righteousness, and to uphold the rule of law and peace in this temporal world.
May those in power use their powers according to the ordinances of God for they are sure and altogether righteous (Psalm 19:9).

Roman 3:23-26
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”
