Prayer

My Lord,

I often think of Your love; Your grace is so deep, high, long, and wide that it is beyond human measure!  You came to earth for thirty-three years, yet it has been nearly two thousand years since You left us.  When You came, You made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, the fallen rise, the dead live again, and the lost be found.  You caused what is seen with physical eyes to be visible, and also made what is unseen with physical eyes to be seen.  Today, among those still living on earth, there are countless lost souls who cannot see or hear, drifting through their days.  Lord, I can feel Your sorrow; I also understand Your urgent desire for everyone to repent.  To receive salvation is to receive eternal life; to receive the Saviour is to receive true life.  Lord, You have saved me.  May I be fit for Your use, do what pleases You, follow what delights You, and bear much fruit in every good work, receiving grace and help.  Lord, also cause me to always carry a reverent heart, be humble and understanding, overcome evil with good, build myself up, and build others up.  Lord, without You, I am nothing.  It is God who cares for me and establishes me in Christ.  May I bow under Your unceasing grace, serve my Lord Christ, and testify that God is love.  And may the glorious Lord, seated at the right hand of God the Father, guard and protect Your beloved disciples on the path of sanctification, granting them great victory and bringing glory to my God.  I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
