What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
Shifting self-reliance to God- reliance is, I dare to say, the biggest challenge each believer faces everyday, and this challenge is destined to failure.
Likewise, learning to fully rely on God’s faithfulness is a profound challenge that can take us high on our journey of faith.
I embrace the challenge because the Lord’s grace is sufficient for me, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthian 12:9). I am not ashamed to admit my weaknesses, for it is then that Christ’s power rests upon me. My true shame would be to remain in those weaknesses and fail in my quest to please my God.
God’s faithfulness is the real reliance I have for my entire life. Therefore, today’s challenge is good for today, for tomorrow, or six months from now on, will worry about itself (Matthew 6:34). I cast all my anxiety on God because I know He cares for me (1 Peter 5:7).
