Do you believe in fate/destiny?
We all live under the rule of destiny.
From cradle to grave is the destined path for every one. Under the rule of destiny, what one sows is what one reaps; and what one sins is what one gets on the Final Judgement Day.
Fate may go against the sow/reap theory, e.g. crops may be destroyed by inclement weather or locusts. On the brighter side, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ may have one’s sins cleansed.
There is a proven truth—The child is father of the man”. Character is formed in early childhood, and the child’s character determines the destiny of his or her life. Therefore, as parents or guardians, we start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.
The truth aligns with the Bible’s teaching. Prudence is a fountain of life to the prudent, but folly brings punishment to fools. Whoever gives heed to instructions prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Truth/Lord (Proverbs 16:20&22).
Many people pray for longevity, but only a few who cherishes the quality of life over longevity. Can any one by worrying add a single hour to his or her life? The wise know that it is all pre-destined by the law of God.
