What was the best compliment you’ve received?
Who does not like to be praised?
A toddler likes to be told he or she is a good kid; a young boy or girl likes to be called a smart kid; a man likes to be admired as the best mate of his peers; and a woman likes to hear that she does not look as her age.
My subordinates took me as their best boss; my boss gave me an honourable compliment—a world-class leader; my mentees praised me as a good teacher and a kind auntie; and the patients I visited called me a heartfelt comforter etc. While I appreciate their kindness, among all of the compliments I have received, the one I consider the most honourable is the one my brother gives me—“You are full of God’s DNA!” Thanks, praises and glory be to God!
What I really strive for is the compliment from my Lord Christ Jesus. When I see Him face-to-face, He will tell me “You are blameless. I have prepared for you a place in my Father’s house.”
With this goal of life I have set out to achieve, I continue my pursuit towards the final destination and the prize.
