Who was your most influential teacher? Why?
Do you agree that we are the most influential teacher of ourselves?
We learn from living, and we grow from our own mistakes, though not without exception. Wisdom is developed through experience. Experience is the best teacher in life.
I think it is agreeable to all that the first most influential teacher is our parents, in particular to our mothers. Babies growing into their beings through their mothers whom they are most attached to physically and emotionally. The Bible teaches us to start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it (Proverbs 22:6).
I regard the Lord of Life Jesus Christ as the supreme, lifelong and most influential teacher—the One and the only one role model for all mankind, exemplifying love, righteousness, justice, humility and courage across all aspects of life. His life offers a sacrificial and comprehensive model for the transformation of a born-again life, and He serves as a beacon for moral living. If one who claims to be a Christian neither learns from Him, nor emulates the image of the Lord, he or she can hardly address Jesus as his or her Lord.
I have come across a few influential teachers along the journey of my life, beginning with my mom, and then learning through trial and error. I have learned that the sadder I am, the wiser I become. I have also met someone who are not teachers by profession but are willing and able to inspire and guide others to do good. There are also those who are teachers by profession but are bad influences to their students. ‘Influential’ could refer to either a positive or a negative influence.
Among all who have been influential teachers to me, the most influential one is the Lord Jesus, whose words are the living water and the bread of life (John 6:35; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Experience is the best teacher, and the Lord is the one who forms the entire experience of my life.

“Infected Life” ~ ✨
Life influences life, through the One and Only.
If by human contact, like attracts like.
In darkness, life is pulled along; every one plays with death.
But those who turn from darkness to light, they themselves do not perish, nor let others perish.
