What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
Our bodies—from a single hair to a bit of skin—are derived from our parents, descending from the first God-created man, Adam. But the one who makes us live is the last Adam (Jesus Christ), a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45).
A person born with a healthy body is blessed, but a person who is blind from birth is greatly blessed, for the work of God might be displayed in his life (John 9:1-3). Those who destroy their healthy bodies turn a blessing into a curse—for themselves and for others. Looking after your body is wise, for it will look after you for life.
A person is united in spirit, soul, and body. To live healthily and blamelessly: I see clean things with my eyes; I listen to advice with my ears; I eat healthy food with my mouth; I speak righteously with my tongue; I ponder God’s words with my mind; I write the gospel message with my hand; and I walk in the light with my feet. Anyone can have such a wonderful life if they believe. Those who use their gifts, talents, and faith effectively will receive more, while those who do not will lose everything (Matthew 13:12).
Sadly, though, there are those who choose to see dirty things, listen to lies, eat junk food, speak falsehoods, think obscenely, do evil, and walk in darkness—ending their lives in eternal death.
What are five everyday things that bring me happiness?
1. Clean light entering my eyes.
2. Truth entering my ears.
3. Healthy food on my tongue.
4. The gospel beneath my hand.
5. Silence—the lamp of my spirit.
In all these, serenity: stable contentment, eternal peace in Christ.

“Silence Is Light” ~ ✨
Five senses, six perceptions make the whole person.
Sin renders the whole incomplete.
Missing senses or perceptions shape destiny.
What man cannot do, God can do all.
The window of the soul stirs human desire.
Spiritual sight from the heart rises where eyes lack sight.
What stirs the six perceptions is silence.
Silence is light, guiding the way bright.
My birth is fixed by fate.
To live beyond fate, may I become—
five senses and six perceptions?
Wholeness is found only in the spirit.

Psalm 139:1-2
“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.”
