What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?
Contentment is happiness, and happiness comes from doing something you like and being content with who you are.
A doctor with a prestigious job may not be happy with his work, while a street cleaner at the lower end of the job market may find joy in his job, seeing his efforts make a real difference in maintaining a clean society.
The unhappiest people are those who are not satisfied with the work they do and live their lives in misery. A job is a job—no one is superior to another. Whether you are a driver for the head of state or a bus driver, you serve the people of your homeland.
I chose my profession and enjoyed it throughout my career. Today, I serve vulnerable children and patients according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I am content with what I do, and I would not want to do another job unless it comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I pay tribute to those who are faithful in their work, whether as a doctor or as a street cleaner. They solve problems for others and thus bring happiness to others.
