What jobs have you had?
I have had a lifelong career—a single profession under which many different kinds of tasks (jobs) were performed. Without naming my profession, I have served people in various fields, applying both hard and soft skills to get the work done. I hold this belief: whether you are a physician, a firefighter, an actor, or a teacher, you must begin by being a good person yourself. Success depends on mastering the core of any business—that is, the people: both those who serve and those who are served.
Currently, I am a volunteer visiting patients in a hospital and mentoring young students in a school. Both jobs involve close contact with vulnerable people, so a dedicated heart to serve comes before all other requirements.
I have learned that no matter what job you do, you will succeed as long as you do it with a clear conscience—saying truly, “I am willing.”
To take a Christian life to new heights, your reply—“I am willing”—to the Lord of the harvest may reap abundantly in His harvest field.
How would you respond if the Lord asked you, ‘Are you willing?’
