Daily Prompt

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

Mine would be “The fullest life in Christ.”

I live with a clear purpose: to testify that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). I have borne witness to God’s promise of an abundant and peaceful life ever since I received Him into my life.

Seven months ago, I started a blog to share the gospel, poems, prayers, and my personal testimony with a worldwide audience, hoping that this blog would make life shine brighter. Since then, I have written every day for 210 consecutive days— 356 posts in total. I don’t do this to compete or to prove my discipline. I do it to show how much I love God and how much God loves you. He never wants anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9).

Yesterday, after posting my prayer, a visitor left me this gracious message: “Your prayers and sharing are full of God’s love and faith. I trust the platform can give us strength and peace to shine upon others.”

Her words were a beautiful act of love. Without sharing, love is hardly shown. With sharing, love grows and travels farther. I have learned that when I love others—especially the vulnerable—I experience the joy of the Holy Spirit in their smiles.

To live the fullest life in Christ, loving God and others is the path there (John 10:10; Luke 10:25-28). I have not yet reached my fullest, but I hope that when I meet the Lord face to face, He will tell me that I have.
