Describe one of your favorite moments.
Contentment is happiness. I am content to live in Christ and serve Him in the joy of the Holy Spirit. Such a life makes every minute my favourite moment.
My faith in Christ does not shield me from pain, suffering, or challenges—but it holds me tightly in hope and love, and helps me extend my limits (Mark 9:23). Through trials and tests, I grow stronger and braver, becoming a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I serve Christ by serving others, especially the weak and vulnerable. And in doing so, I share in their happiness. For example: I help a hopeless patient become hopeful by hearing and believing the gospel—the moment the patient smiled after praying with me; I turn a poorly performing student into a well-performing one—the moment when the student proudly presented her examination report to me; and I stir in an idle believer an interest in studying the Bible and living out the Word.
As such, my favourite moments are fruit-bearing moments. I hope yours are the same.
