Who are you most inspired by?
Family, school, and society have laid the foundation of my education. But when it comes to applying what I have learned, it is my faith that guides me through the journey of life. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. In Him, I shall not be in want. In Him, I am fully inspired and strengthened.
I am being transformed daily into the likeness of Christ—from proud to humble; from impatient to patient; from less forgiving to more forgiving. When I win, I win humbly. When I fail, I learn to wait patiently before God. And I can release the very hurts I have endured.
The Lord says He came to give life—abundant life. This is the truth that inspires and enriches hundreds of millions of lives, and this is the truth I bear witness to.
During my volunteer visits to hospital patients, I have seen this truth mend broken hearts, shine away loneliness, and lift anxiety. Scripture reveals the love and grace of God: a bruised reed He will not break, and a smouldering wick He will not snuff out (Isaiah 42:3; Matthew 12:20). Yet those who exalt themselves will be humbled, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (Luke 14:11; 1 Peter 5:5).
The patient I visited two days ago was another testimony to this truth. When I arrived, she felt lonely, anxious, and somewhat adrift. But after being reassured by God’s promise and providence, she was restored to hope and peace. I held her hands to pray and brought her back to the Lord—back to the arms of our Almighty God. I felt the warmth of her hands, the strength of her grip. I gave her a book—a collection of my poems—to which she responded with heartfelt gratitude:
“Flipping through your poetry and art book brought a deep sense of healing to my spirit.”
This moment revealed how the Holy Spirit works in me, and through me, to restore others.
While life in Christ is abundant, it is still full of challenges and difficulties. My faith does not shield me from hardship or suffering. But when my vision is clouded, it lifts me above the clouds; when my strength fails, it infuses me with new energy to press on; and when my burden is overwhelming, I have the Lord’s arm to carry it alongside me.
My response to today’s prompt is simply an expression of sincere gratitude to the Triune God—for His love and faithfulness to His children. I hope this sharing, along with my poem, offers you a new perspective on the God who guides, provides, and protects those who call on His name.

This same love—the love that restores the broken—is what my poem tries to capture.

✨ “Love” ✨
I see the sun smile down on me,
I hear the stars whisper soft and free.
I ask the heavens, “Why am I loved so?”
When a voice from the skies begins to flow—
One word resounds: “I love you.”
I ask again, “But why is it true?”
The answer falls in echoes through—
For love’s own sake, it speaks anew.
I ponder deep within my heart,
And seek among the world’s loud art.
The world asks “why?” in every quest—
Yet all replies are love confessed:
“Love none but self,” their creeds impart.
But You—gave life to save my soul,
Showed love that makes the broken whole.
At last I wake, too slow to see—
A sweep of dust, a world set free,
I turn my back on all I knew—
And run, O Lord, straight back to You.✨
