Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

What a profound grace it is just to be near You—You, the beloved Son of God. Your Word reveals who Jesus is, and life itself has taught us who Christ truly is. And oh, we have the joy of walking each day with You by our side!

When we remember how You knelt in Gethsemane, praying for us with tears, we see just how deeply we are on Your heart. And when You cried out “It is finished” from the cross, You tore open a living way—new and eternal—so that everyone who steps onto that path finds life that never ends.

Now, for those of us who have been born again, the day holds no exhausting dread, and the night brings peaceful rest. Yet if we still fall short, Lord, be our strength. If we still toss and turn by day or lie awake by night, grant us the rest only You can give.

We no longer sigh over how brief and broken life can be—because in You, brevity has become but a light affliction, and every helpless place has been filled with Your blessing.

Lord, with You—what could ever frighten us? With You, we lack absolutely nothing.

Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
