Dear Heavenly Father,
Your children come before Your throne of grace, offering heartfelt thanks for Your love, Your salvation, and for building us up in Christ. You know Your children well, and You know the people and matters that weigh on our hearts. Abba Father, may the things we carry in our hearts be according to Your will, and may You graciously bring them to pass. The world is ever-changing, and troubles often outnumber joys. May we receive from You the wisdom and strength to face them bravely and rise to challenges, so that our faith may transform from subjective feeling into the substance of things hoped for—a reality we can hold onto in our daily lives. As children of God, may we be teachable and grow, caring for one another in Christ and following His example of love. Above all, may we look to the Head of the church, building up a holy and righteous church in love, becoming a light to all peoples on earth. May God grant us in Christ a peace that surpasses all understanding, and may our joy be seen, may You be praised and exalted. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
