What’s your home decoration style?
My home is simple yet classic—filled with souvenirs and handmade furniture, each piece carrying warmth from somewhere I’ve loved.
Yet the heart of my home isn’t in the décor. It’s in the knowing that home is where my heart is. So I shape it into a place to rest, to reflect, and to welcome family and friends.
Remote work has blurred the line between home and office—blurring, too, the boundary between rest and labour. For some, this is a genuine lifeline; for others, a quiet burden. Either way, home remains the harbour we cannot do without.
Yet my deepest longing is not for any earthly dwelling, but for the eternal home—crafted not by human hands but by God’s power (2 Cor 5:1), where a room already awaits me (John 14:2). Unlike these fragile earthly spaces, that dwelling is imperishable, undefiled, unfading—lit not by sun or moon, but by the glory of God and the Lamb (Rev 21).
So ultimately, it matters little what style adorns our walls. What matters is whether we can endure life in His presence.
May the poem below inspire you—not towards better decorating, but towards the One whose dwelling is already prepared.

✨Busy or Idle✨
In city life, leisure is hard to find—
Yet when it comes, I’m too tired to unwind.
Life has its rhythms—young and old must learn
Through busy days and quiet hours we yearn.
City dwellers, we still have a voice—
Though in this desert, we make our choice
Just to survive. But who can say
Which path is better—night or day?
What’s good or bad? If life endures—
Then neither choice is truly poor.
