Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
What a wonderful Saviour You are. You call me with love, and hold me in Your hand so that I will not be shaken. You guard me at every moment with Your boundless grace, enabling me to live abundantly, just as You have promised. Lord, I thank You! May I put Your joy first and my own joy second, for I have come to know that Your joy is my joy, and what concerns You is what I should care about. Indeed, the people and matters I care for are already in Your remembrance. Lord, You do not wish that any should perish, but that all should be saved through faith and repentance. How vast are Your thoughts and purposes! Your eyes see straight to the path of eternity, and You desire that everyone walk on the road You have opened. Lord, may You rejoice over those who have already taken up Your way, and may You be pleased with Your disciples who serve You faithfully. May Your remembrance become a blessing to all who are remembered by You. May they hear the call of Your tender love and feel the warmth of Your gracious hand. May every patient I visited last week be received and protected by You, so that they may pass their remaining days in peace and without pain. And may those who have heard the name of this wonderful Saviour take Your love and faithfulness into their hearts. Lord, may You accomplish all this for Your own name’s sake and for the glory of the Father. In Your name I pray, Amen!
