How did you meet your significant other?
The phrase “significant other” is commonly understood as one’s better-half—the love of one’s life. For me, however, my significant other is the One to whom I eternally belong: Jesus Christ, the Lord of Life—not a love that fades with time.
Let me clarify: my significant other is not worldly romance, fame, or wealth—for none of these bear enduring significance. In Him, I have become a new creation, set apart from the world, and I now see all things through a renewed lens.
Yet love is born in relationship—first with parents, then siblings, friends, lovers, and beyond. The world, however, tends to reduce relationships to status, wealth, or power, crediting only what is visible, grasping only what is tangible, and satisfying only what is physically possessed.
To embrace an invisible, untouchable relationship requires faith alone—and faith is “confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1). For me, believing in the One who alone is truly significant and eternal—that is the Way that guides me towards Him.

Each walks the path that fits their kind.

Who trusts in It shall life unbind.
What is this Way? Where may It be?
Where can one meet such Mystery?
It knows no place that holds It fast,
Yet all Its power and presence last.
At dawn the sun awakens you,
At night the moon your slumber tends;
Spring, summer, autumn, winter through—
The years, the seasons without ends.
The clear wind brushes on your face—
To be alive is to feel Its grace.
And when you see the Christ appear,
Then shall you know that He is here.
