What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you?
My best? Your best? Where do the two meet? When I give advice, I give it honestly. When I counsel others, I hope they receive it as a blessing in disguise.
The truest words I know, for myself and for anyone: Jesus loves me. You may wish to know that Jesus loves you too. The Bible does not lie; people do. Christians should not lie—yet many still do. Some who do not lie are not Christians at all. I give advice with the best of intentions: the truth is harsh, but when it yields, it becomes the best advice.
Consciously or not, everyone gives advice—by word, by witness, by mere presence. Success or failure, past or present, mirrors life from every angle. For me, Christ’s angle is every angle of life.
So my best advice—the enduring truth for all—is this: live your life in faith, hope, and love in Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 13:13). And for the younger generations: give your youth to serve the Lord (Ecclesiastes 12:1)—a blessing for your whole life.

Where are the pure in heart? Truly, rare in this world.
Where are those who hunger for righteousness? A chance encounter, perhaps.
The pure in heart see through all things;
those who hunger for righteousness give themselves for others.
From ancient days to now, under the sun nothing is new.
What is rare stays rare; what is chance stays chance.
A sleeping conscience is nothing new—an awakened one is.
Do not wait until the sun and the light turn to darkness;
do not let the soul sink forever.
Under the sun there is something new: it makes hope burn again.
