Daily Prompt

The genie grants you a wish. What is it?

No, thank you.

I have the One and Only God—the triune God made known to the world by His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ (John 1:18).

God has granted me countless wishes—the greatest being the grace of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Through prayer, I speak with God; through Scripture, God speaks to me. Scripture tells me that by faith my life is abundant; by loving God—the Almighty Creator—God will protect me wholly.

Blessings I never asked for have been received. Others I asked for have been granted.

I have peace—for I have faith and hope. I have joy—for I am loved. I have a heart to share—for sharing love grows love in me and in others.

So I will continue to ask God the Father for more grace—for me, for my family and friends, and for those in need who cross my path.

But I will not ask to be rich in the flesh, but abundant in spirit; not sick-free, but healthy; not invincible, but wise and inspired.

And I pray, more so than ever, that the Heavenly Father grant Himself the very wish of His own—that no one shall perish, and everyone comes to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

So may you—ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door to eternity will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7).

May I ask for grace to be bestowed upon you for seeing the unseen.

“Is” but Unseen✨

Tradition passes bloodlines down through generations’ hands;

God’s gospel, justified by faith, each generation bans.

The world trusts what the eye can see, but not the unseen claim—

What’s seen is seized and grasped and held; each sage sees his own fame.

What’s unseen drifts as wind and shadow—foolishness, they say.

The self-styled wise hoard treasures here, where moth and rust decay;

The ones deemed fools store wealth above, where thieves can’t take away.

The tangible—its final end is emptiness and dust.

The intangible—man never saw, and so he will not trust.

Tangible or intangible? Wisdom or folly?

—The ending is the answer.
