Prayer

Dear gracious Lord,

You are my Shepherd, so that I may not be lost, nor be in want. I will worship the triune true God with my life, for life comes from You. You came as the Son of Man, not as a bystander, nor as a judge. You came — to personally experience the suffering of humanity trapped by the flesh, and to accomplish the path of salvation. I see that Jesus Christ grieved before the world grieved, rejoiced after heaven rejoiced, and shared in the people’s suffering and wept with them. The Lord also often grieved over the disciples’ unbelief and weakness. O Lord, may I not be a sorrow to You, and may those who truly belong to You also not grieve You. May Your bride be united with the Bridegroom on that day, forever of one heart. And may all who live in this hope always be watchful, keep themselves pure, have clear hearts and eyes, do many good works, bear abundant fruit, and be prepared to meet the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen!
